Himachal Pradesh: Fire gutted a shop in Chamba

Shimla: A major fire broke out at a grocery shop at Mohalla Sultanpur Pargana Saach Tehsil, District Chamba about 250 kms from this capital town on wee hours of Sunday.

State diaster Management authority spokesperson confirmed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit, a fire broke out in the grocery shop belongging to Amit Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Sultanpur Pargana Saach Tehsil of District Chamba.

The fire reduced to ashes all the goods kept in the shop, although there was no loss of life.

The mishap occurred at 1.30 am today.

A revenue team was deployed to the spot to evaluate the loss caused by the fire mishap.
