Heavy rains hit normal life in Bangalore, woman rescued from submerged car

Bangalore, Oct 14 (IBNS): Heavy rains has lashed Bangalore city for the past few days, disrupting normal life in the city.

Rain-related incidents have claimed five lives in the city so far, media reports said.

Meanwhile, in a heroic act few people were caught on camera saving the life of a woman who was stuck in a car on a waterlogged road of the city.

The video has been doing the rounds on social media.

In the video footage, one can seen a car floating in waste-deep water on a Bangalore road.

The hood of the car was almost submerged when some people noticed the situation and went down to help the woman.

Few people could be seen jumping in the water and rescuing her from the car.

The incident reportedly occurred close to the  Nayandahalli Circle on Mysuru road on Friday.
