Heavy rainfall, waterlogging affect life in Delhi

New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): Life in the national capital continued to get affected by waterlogging as heavy rains lashed the city for second consecutive day on Saturday.
The waterlogging has not only resulted in flooding several arterial roads but has left commuters stranded for several hours due to traffic jam.

The national capital recorded this season's maximum rainfall on Saturday.

The MET department issued a warning on Saturday saying that heavy rainfall could be expected till Tuesday.

Heavy rains left an old age home in South Delhi's Rangpuri Pahari flooded.

All residents were evacuated by Delhi government and have been safely moved to a community centre nearby.
