Heaviest cross-border firing since 1971: Pathak
Srinagar, Aug 26 (IBNS): Chief of the Border Security Force DK Pathak has said continuous firing from Pakistan from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir in the past few days is the 'heaviest since 1971'.
"It is the heaviest cross-border firing I've seen since the 1971 war,"DK Pathak told NDTV.
"It is unprecedented to target civilian areas to this extent," he stressed.
For the past few days, firing from Pakistan from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir over the last fortnight have been reported.
