Haryana police announces reward for Kurukshetra bus bomb blast

Pipli, Kurukshetra, May 27 (IBNS) Haryana police announced a reward on Friday for information on the Kurukshetra bus bomb blast, according to media reports.
NDTV reported that a reward of Rs 10 lakh has been announced by the Haryana Police.
 
On Thursday, at least eight people received severe burn injuries after a blast occurred inside a moving Haryana Roadways bus bound for Chandigarh on National Highway-1 at Pipli in Haryana , media reports said. 
 
The injured were admitted to the civil hospitals of Kurukshetra and Pipli.
 
According to reports, the explosion, which took place near the Tau Devi Lal Park, damaged window panes in the middle section of the bus. 
 
The driver acted swiftly and managed to bring the bus to a halt immediately.
 
Police recovered a battery that may have been used to trigger the explosion, reports said.
 
The battery was probably hidden inside the bus.
