Kolkata, Feb 10 (IBNS):  Patidar agitation leader Hardik Patel on Friday met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and called the TMC supremo ‘Lady Gandhi’.

Patel tweeted: "Today I met Lady Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister."

He shared several images of his meeting with the Congress leader.

He appreciated Banerjee for her 'simplicity' and 'selfless' nature.

The meeting between the two leaders lasted for nearly 90 minutes.

Patel played a crucial role in the Gujarat Assembly polls.

The ruling BJP won 99 seats in the polls.

Patel had played a crucial role in campaigning against the BJP.

"I still won seats for the Congress. Their vote share went from 33 to 43 per cent... that is because of me," Patel had told NDTV.
