Gujarat: Two injured in separate leopard attacks

Amreli, Jul 20 (UNI) Two persons, including a 8-year-old girl were injured in separate incidents of leopard attacks in the vicinity of Gir-East forests in Amreli district of Gujarat.

CCF Junagadh D T Vasavada said that one Dinesh B Katariya (22) was attacked by a leopard in Malsika village, close to Dhari beat and Sarasiya range of the Gir East forests. He has been admitted to a hospital here.

The second incident occurred in Mota Muniyasar village in Bagsara taluka and Kunkavav range of the forests, where a girl was attacked by another leopard. Cages have been placed near the village to trap the beast.
