Gujarat: Three dead, five injured in collision of ST and luxury bus

Ahwa, Mar 13 (UNI) At least 3 passengers, two of a government run State Transport bus and one of a private luxury bus, died while five others were injured in a head on collision of the vehicles on Wednesday in Saputara area of Dang district in South Gujarat.

Police said that the accident took place near Ambapada village on Waghai Shirdi road. The ST bus was going to Shirdi from Bhavnagar while the Luxury bus was returning to Rajkot from Shirdi.

Two of the deceased died on the spot while another succumbed in the hospital. They have been identified as Manasi Akhade resident of Nasik and Sudhir Pandey resident of Vapi and Vishal Sorathiya, a resident of Saurashtra.
