Great Khali campaigns for BJP candidate from Jadavpur Lok Sabha seat Anupam Hazra

Kolkata, Apr 26 (IBNS): Jadavpur, a Lok Sabha constituency in South Kolkata, on Friday witnessed an unusual scene when an internationally acclaimed wrestler walked in its lanes to campaign for BJP candidate Anupam Hazra.

Hazra joined the BJP recently.

He was earlier a member of the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

People had gathered around the streets to see Khali.

Khali was best known for his appearance in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Hazra is competing in the polls against  Bengali actress Mimi Chakraborty of Trinamool Congress.

Polling in the Jadavpur seat will be held on May 19.
