Grand alliance is one and will remain as one: Sharad Yadav

| | Nov 08, 2015, at 06:14 pm
New Delhi, Nov 8 (IBNS) JD(U) senior leader Sharad Yadav said that the 'Mahagathbandhan' (Grand Alliance) in Bihar is unbreakable and will continue to be so in the future years.

Speaking to NDTV, Yadav said, "The Grand-alliance is one and will remain so."

Crying foul at the BJP, he called the party habitual offenders. "Religious division is BJP's habit, they said that Pakistan will celebrate, now we have won, so does that mean that the people of Bihar are Pakistanis."

Yadav claimed that the grand alliance has given India a new mandate.

As the counting of the votes progressed , the Nitish Kumar-Lalu Prasad Yadav alliance is leading in as many as 156 seats of the 243-member house.

The NDA, led by Narendra Modi's BJP, is ahead in 76 seats so far.
