Government setting up centre for developing sign language : Modi
New Delhi, Apr 11 (IBNS) A centre for developing Indian sign language will be set up very soon as part of the government's commitment to to achieving empowerment and inclusion of disabled people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said.
"My government is fully committed to the UN Convention of Rights for Persons with Diassabilities, for achieving empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities," he said in his message.
"We are also making Indian Railways accessible and starting a centre to develop Indian sign language," Modi said.
