Go to Jantar Mantar for dharna, BJP to Oppn; Rahul says all set to speak out

New Delhi, Dec 9 (IBNS): While Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi said he is all set to speak in Parliament if he is allowed to, the ruling BJP said the Opposition should go to Jantar Mantar protest ground in Delhi if they want to sit on a dharna.

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi slammed the Opposition in Lok Sabha for disrupting the parliamentary proceedings and even quoted the President for the same.

She said if the Opposition wants, they can can go Jantar Mantar and protest.

Rahul Gandhi, meanwhile, said : "My speech is ready hope they let us speak."

Gandhi earlier said he would not let the PM run away from the demonetisation debate.

Both houses were adjourned till 12 noon.
