Get ready for another five years of Modi rule: Amit Shah

Ghatal, May 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Tuesday said it doesn't matter if West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee consider Modiji as Prime Minister and asked her to get ready for another five years of Modi rule.

“Whether you consider or not, it doesn't matter. Get ready for another 5 years, because Prime Minister Modi will come back to power again. Aapke na manne se kuch nahi hota, aur 5 saal ki taiyari kar lo Modi Ji phirse ekbar PM ban ne ja rahe hai,” Modi said.

Addressing a public meeting here in Paschim Medinipur district, he said according to the constitution, whosoever people of the country elect is the Prime Minister.

The BJP president said election in West Bengal is for restoring democracy in the state, where BJP will win more than 23 seats.

The Centre has granted Rs. 4,24,800 crore to West Bengal in five years, but the fund has gone to the syndicates, instead, he alleged.

The BJP president promised to introduce the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill again.

“We will first bring the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill to give Indian citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Christian refugees from the neighbouring countries and then ensure that every infiltrator is identified and deported out of India,” Shah said.

“Once Bengal gets real 'parivartan' when BJP forms the government here, those who fired upon innocent children who protested at being forced to study in Urdu will be sent behind bars,” he said.

If Lord Ram's name is not taken in India, will it be chanted in Pakistan, Mr Shah said.
