New Delhi, Feb 19 (IBNS) Giving a major relief, the Supreme Court in its interim order on Thursday extended the stay on arrest of social activist Teesta Setalvad and her husband in connection with Gulbarg Society fund embezzlement case.

The apex court also directed the social activist and her NGOs to give the list of documents and means of donors as sought by the Gujarat police, reports said.

The FIR was lodged against Setalvad in 2014 for allegedly misusing Rs. 1.5 crores of donations.

The court gave its directions while hearing an  anticipatory bail plea of Teesta Setalvad and her husband.

Last week, the Gujarat High Court had rejected Setalvad's anticipatory bail plea  in connection with the Gulbarg society embezzlement case.
