'Friend fire' kills two soldiers in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 4 (IBNS) Two soldiers were killed and several others sustained bullet injuries when two contingents of the Army clashed with each other, suspecting each other as militants, in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place in the Tral area, which is more than 40km away from Srinagar and has seen a spurt in militancy in the recent months.

According to reports, sources identified the deceased as NK Mohan Boro and Sepoy Lal Chanhlima Ghatak.

Recently a video was released by Hizbul Mujahideen in Tral , showed them wearing army uniform, training inside forest area in south
Kashmir.
