Four members of a family commit suicide in AP

Ongole, Mar 16 (UNI) Four members of a family, including two children, committed suicide by consuming pesticide in their house at Alli Nagaram village in Komarole mandal in Prakasham district in Andra Pradesh on Saturday.

The deceased identified as Nakka Nagaraju (48), N Eeshwari (42) Vaishnavi (13) and Varalakshmi (11), police said.

Varalakshmi succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment in the government hospital in Giddaluru.

The family committed suicide as it was unable to pay the debts and bear the pressure, being exerted by the money lenders, Sub-inspector B Brahma Naidu said.
The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem, police added.
