Five Manipur Police, BSF personnel injured in attack by Kuki militants

Imphal/UNI: Four Manipur Police personnel and a BSF jawan were seriously injured when suspected Kuki militants launched an attack on Tuesday at Moreh, Tengnoupal district.

All the injured were airlifted to Imphal for medical treatment.

Since January 1, Kuki militants using RPGs, mortars, and snipers have been attacking security personnel.

In October last year, an SDPO of the Manipur Police was shot dead by Kuki militants.
