Farmer hangs self from tree in Maharashtra
Nashik, Apr 9 (UNI) A debt ridden farmer committed suicide by hanging himself from the tree at Karanjvan-Kothure road at Shingave village in Nifad tehsil of the district on Monday.
Police said, the deceased, Subhash Yeshwant Shinde had taken a loan from credit society and relatives, which he could not repay it, so he was in depression and took extreme step by hanging himself from the tree.
A case was registered and further investigation was on, police added.
