Fare hike: Kejriwal warns of strict action against app-based taxi service providers
New Delhi, Apr 18 (IBNS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday warned 'strict action' against app-based taxis for charging fares more than government prescribed rates.
"Strict action, incl permit cancellation n impounding vehicle, to be taken against taxis which charge rates more than govt prescribed rates," Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal made the comment amid some complaints that app-based taxi service providers were increasing the fares during rush hours.
Delhi is currently following the second phase of the odd-even scheme.
