Explosion at cracker factory in West Bengal's Naihati

Kolkata/UNI: A major explosion razed a cracker factory at Debok neigbourhood of Naihati town in North 24 Parganas district, police and eyewitnesses said.  

The explosion blew away the roof of the factory and razed the structure spread across a radius of 10km to ground.

A series of explosion continued while a fleet of fire tenders struggled to douse the flames.

No loss of life was immediately reported in the explosion that 

However, an unconfirmed source said that at least five people were injured in the explosion and factory owner Noor Hossain was absconding.

Eye-witnesses and local people alleged that a similar explosion in the same factory killed five people a year ago.
