Ex-TN minister arrested in connection with engineer's suicide

Chennai, Apr 5 (IBNS): Former Tamil Nadu agriculture minister SS Krishnamoorthy and chief engineer Senthil have been arrested in connection with the alleged suicide of a government engineer, reports said.
According to reports, the victim, S Muthukumarasamy, was allegedly being pressured by superiors for key appointments.
 
"Krishnamoorthy's staff has been accused of demanding bribes from S Muthukumarasamy over postings," CNN-IBN reported.
 
Following this, the minister was ousted from the cabinet in March.
