Ex-Arunchal CM suicide: Angry mobs attack CM, Deputy CM houses in Itanagar

Guwahati, Aug 9 (IBNS) : Angry mobs attacked the official residence of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prema Khandu and torched several vehicles in Itanagar after former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul was found hanging at his official residence on Tuesday morning.

Protesters had shouted against the Prema Khandu led state government and blocked roads in Itanagar.

Angry mobs also attacked the house of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and a minister Tapang Talu and damaged several vehicles parked in the premises.

Tense still gripped the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh and army, para military forces are deployed to control the situation.

Kalikho Pul, former CM of Arunachal Pradesh, was found hanging at his official residence on Tuesday morning.
