ED arrests Rose Valley Group Chairman Gautam Kundu

Kolkata, Mar 25 (IBNS) The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday arrested Rose Valley group of companies chairman Gautam Kundu in Kolkata in connection with a ponzi scam allegedly involving the group.

According to reports, he was arrested after being interrogated by officials for several hours at ED office in Kolkata.

Kundu was arrested nearly two years after Saradha Group chief Sudipta Sen and Saradha Group director Debjani Mukherjee were arrested in April 2013 from Jammu and Kashmir.

The Saradha Group that went bust last year left lakhs of depositors in a fix.

The duo is now in jail in the ponzi scam.
