ECI removes 2 officials of Cooch Behar district police
Kolkata, Apr 29 (IBNS) With West Bengal gearing up to cast their votes in the fifth of phase of polling for the Assembly polls, The ECI on Friday removed two officials of Cooch Behar district police.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Tufanganj, Farukh Chowdhury, and IC of Sitai Police Station Kartick Bhattacharya have been removed.
Assembly polls in Cooch Behar will be conducted on May 5.
Meanwhile, the fifth phase of the polling for the West Bengal Assembly polls will be held on Saturday.
