Droupadi Murmu visits Sacred Heart Cathedral on Christmas eve, offers prayers

New Delhi:Indian President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral in New Delhi to offer Christmas prayers.

She participated in celebrations and spent time with children in the church.

The official Twitter handle of the President of India shared several images of her visit to the church.

The tweet read: " President Droupadi Murmu visited Sacred Heart Cathedral in New Delhi a day before Christmas. The children sang Christmas carols. The President offered prayers for the progress and welfare of humanity. She participated in celebrations and spent time with children."

Christmas was celebrated across India on Sunday.
