Donald Trump arrives in Singapore for meeting with Kim

Singapore City, June 10 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump on Sunday reached Singapore for the highly awaited meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Trump arrived in the country 36 hours before the meeting.

Trump arrived on Air Force One at Singapore's Paya Lebar Air Base at 8:21 p.m. local time, where he was greeted by Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. Kim arrived at Singapore's commercial airport on an Air China Boeing 747 just more than five hours earlier, reported CNN.

Trump arrived in Singapore from Canada where he attended the G7 Summit.

Meanwhile, Kim has also reached Singapore meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on June 12.
