Development of Hazaribagh airport to commence soon: Das

Ranchi, Feb 21 (UNI) Very soon a 'bhoomi pujan' would be performed for starting the development works at the Hazaribagh airport.

An official statement here today said that Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed the officials concerned to commence preparations in this regard. A joint venture has been inked between the Jharkhand government and Airports Authority of India for development of the airport.

The construction works at the Hazaribagh airport have to be undertaken as part of Regional Connectivity Scheme as from Hazaribagh flights would be operated directly to Patna and Kolkata for which the tender has been already issued.
