Deoband's Darun Uloom issues travel advisory for students on Republic Day

| @indiablooms | Jan 24, 2019, at 11:10 am

Meerut, Jan 24 (IBNS): Islamic seminary Darul Uloom of Deoband has suggested students to avoid train journeys during the Republic Day vacation to avoid occurrence of any untoward incident, media reports said.

The advisory has been issued by hostel in charge Muneeruddin Usmani, Hindustan Times reported.

Usmani advised students not to avail trains if possible to avoid untoward incidents due to excessive checking. He also advised students to stay away from unnecessary arguments if they at all travel via train.

Darul Uloom has declared that students will have holidays after hoisting the national flag on the Republic Day (Jan 26).

As the Republic Day is on Saturday this year, the students will get a two-day vacation.

The advisory came years after some students of the seminary were beaten up while they were travelling in trains.
