Delhi pollution: Arvind Kejriwal calls emergency cabinet meet

New Delhi, Nov 6 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called an emergency meeting of the Cabinet on Sunday to discuss the issue of increased pollution level in the national capital which has hit the normal life of the Delhiites.

According to reports, the meeting is scheduled to be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday.

Kejriwal on Saturday said that the increased pollution level in Delhi has made outdoors in the national capital resemble as 'gas chamber'.

Speaking at a press conference, Kejriwal had said: "Pollution level has increased so much in Delhi that it has now become a gas chamber outside."

He had said the initial inquiry suggested that the reason behind pollution was crop burning in neighbouring states of Delhi.

The CM had also noted that closing down school for longer time in the national capital due to the pollution trouble was not a solution.
