Delhi polls: AAP to hold silent marches against BJP for calling Kejriwal a 'terrorist'

New Delhi/UNI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will conduct silent marches across all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi, to protest against the unparliamentary language used by BJP MP Parvesh Verma and his remark that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is a "terrorist."

The AAP will also go from door-to-door, to tell people that if they feel Kejriwal is a son of Delhi, then they should vote for him and if they believe that he is a 'terrorist,' then they should vote for BJP.

The silent marches started on Friday and will continue till Sunday.

During the protest, AAP supporters will don black ribbons, to condemn the hate remarks of BJP and distribute pamphlets, which ask people to decide whether Kejriwal is their son or a 'terrorist'.

Over the next few days, the party volunteers will be on the ground, connecting with the voters.

Two days ago, BJP MP Parvesh Singh Verma had stated that Kejriwal is a terrorist, which endorsed the statement by Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari.

The AAP had moved the Election Commission and complained against the hate campaign of BJP and the lack of decorum on their part.

AAP has also asked the EC to take stern action against such hate remarks.

Thereafter, the EC had ordered a ban on the campaign of Verma for 96 hours.
