Delhi Police files charge sheet in Trilokpuri area rape case

New Delhi/IBNS: The Delhi Police on Friday filed the charge sheet in connection with the rape case of a girl in Trilokpuri area.

The accused had been arrested and is currently in judicial custody.

The 187-page charge sheet was submitted by the Crime Branch in a Delhi court, who has fixed Sept 10 for further proceedings.

During the investigation, all evidence, including technical, were analysed and brought on record. Senior officers supervised the investigation on a day-to-day basis.

In view of the sensitivity of the case, the charge sheet has been submitted within 21 days against the accused who is currently lodged in judicial custody.

The six-year-old was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Trilokpuri on Wednesday.
