Delhi/IBNS: The Delhi government has allowed Delhi Metro and public buses to run at full capacity while cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes can reopen at 50 per cent capacity starting Monday.

However, the buses will be allowed to take as many passengers as their seats and no standing passenger will be allowed, the order said.

Weddings and funerals can now have 100 people instead of 50.

Spas have also been allowed to open from Monday but the entire staff should either be fully vaccinated or undergo RT-PCR test every 15 days.

The Delhi Metro had resumed operations from June 7 after weeks of closure due to the second wave of Covid-19 that claimed hundreds of lives.

From a drastic 36 per cent the cases in the national capital have dropped to 0.09 per cent now.

The city reported zero death, 66 new infections, and 52 recoveries over 24 hours. The national capital has 587 active cases.
