New Delhi/IBNS: A man threw his 2-year-old son from the first floor of a building and then jumped from the third level in Delhi’s Kalkaji on Friday after an altercation with his wife, media reports said.

Police said the man has been identified as Man Singh (30). While he was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, the child has been admitted to Holy Family Hospital.

Singh’s wife Pooja alleged that she does not have a good relationship with her husband and was living with her grandmother with her two kids for the past few days, police added, reported ANI.

The woman said he came on Friday at around 6-7 pm in a drunken state and started quarrelling with her.

“Suddenly, he took his son to the first floor and threw him down. He also jumped down thereafter,” police further added.

A case has been registered and an investigation has been started.
