Kolkata, Sept 12 (IBNS) A day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced to make public the files and documents on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose which are lying with the state government, Union Parliamentary Affiars Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday welcome the move, saying he hoped the leader's disappearance mystery will come out one day.

"I welcome the decision of the West Bengal Government to declassify the Netaji files. I hope one day the mystery of disappearance of Netaji will come out in the open," he told reporters while attending a programme in Kolkata.

Naidu said it is relatively easier for the state to declassify the Netaji files as states did not have to maintain international relations.

“The government of India has to deal with different nations. I do not know what are the actual problems that may arise if the files are declassified by the Centre," he said.

Banerjee said: "All Netaji Files will be available at Kolkata Police Archives from next Friday. They will be in public domain."
