Decision over Sudin Dhavalikar today: CM Sawant

Panaji, Mar 27 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that decision over Deputy Chief Minister Sudin Dhavalikar will be taken today.

Speaking to reporters at State Secretariat, he said,'' MGP has been split and two MLAs of Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) have been merged into Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Will take a decision today.''


When asked would Mr Dhavalikar be dropped from the cabinet, he said, ''A decision would be taken today and then swearing-in will take place.''


In a late night development, two of the three Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) MLAs merged into legislative unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday.
