New Delhi, Apr 20 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that global terrorist Dawood Ibrahim's properties in Mumbai can be seized by the Indian government, media reports said.

The top court has dismissed the pleas of Dawood's mother Amina Bi Kaskar and sister Hasina Parkar against the takeover of the properties.

Dawood's properties worth about crore rupees.

In 1988, the government sealed all the properties of Dawood but both Amina and Hasina challenged the take over later.

Both Amina and Hasina moved the Supreme Court after tribunal and the Delhi High Court dismissed their pleas challenging the take over.

The properties were allegedly bought with the illegal money of Dawood.

Dawood was the mastermind of the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai.
