Darbhanga beheading incident occurred due to land dispute: Sushil Kumar Modi

Patna, Mar 17 (IBNS): Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday said the beheading of a man in the state's Darbhanga region occurred due to 'land dispute'.

His denied the claims made by the victim's family that was attacked as he had had named a town square "Narendra Modi chowk".

"Totally false that murder in Darbhanga cose of naming Modi http://Chawk.Case  of land dispute.Board was put long back,Murder has nothing to do with Board. ,"Sushil Modi tweeted.

Leaving Darbhanga shocked, a man was attacked by more than 40 people on Thursday.

The attackers killed the person who was identified as Ram Chandra Yadav.

He was the father of panchayat-level BJP leader Tej Narayan Yadav.

Narayan claimed that some people were unhappy after the initiative was taken by the deceased to name  a local chowk after the Prime Minsiter.

He was quoted as saying by DNA: "They wanted the thoroughfare to be named after RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. My father tried to broker peace, but he was murdered."
