Cylinder blast at a temple in Karnataka's Hubbali injures nine people

Hubbali/IBNS: Nine people were injured in a LPG cylinder blast which took place at a Shiva temple in Karnataka's Hubbali on Sunday night, media reports said.

The nine people who sustained serious burns were sleeping when the blast took place at Sainagar in the city.

The injured were rushed to a hospital and their conditions are serious.

Police suspect the blast took place as the cylinder was not turned off.

The Lord Ayappa devotees were planning to visit Sabarimala Temple in Kerala.

The injured were reportedly sleeping in a temple room when the blast occurred.
