Curfew lifted in Srinagar, fresh violence in south Kashmir : Another youth killed

Srinagar, Sept 6 (IBNS) : Curfew was lifted from entire Srinagar city on Tuesday following improvement in the situation, even as a youth was killed during a clash between a mob and security forces in south Kashmir taking the toll in the continuing violence to 75.

At Seer in Kashmir's Aanantnag district, 20-year-old Naseer Ahmed Dar  was killed as security forces fired from pellet guns during a clash with a mob.

About 50 people were also injured in the incident.

A police official said Musaib Nagoo, a 17-year-old boy, who was injured during clashes between protesters and security forces on Sunday in Sopore town of Baramulla district, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Monday night.
