Aurangabad, Mar 26 (IBNS): Prohibitory orders were imposed in south Bihar’s Aurangabad town where communal clashes broke out during Ram Navmi processions on Monday, media reports said.

The administration has imposed Section 144 in the area.

According to reports, people were engaged in stone pelting, which left several injured.

In fact, nearly a dozen shops were gutted on Sunday when a Ram Navami procession was taken out.

In West Bengal too, it was a day of show of strength by ruling party Trinamool Congress (TMC) and opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who took out Ram Navami processions and reportedly violated rules.
