CPRF men, civilians injured in Kashmir grenade attack

Srinagar, July 29 (IBNS) Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a CRPF vehicle in South Kashmir’s Anantnag town leaving three security personnel and two civilians injured on Wednesday, officials said.

According to reports, the incident occurred on KP Bus Adda Road in Anantnag.
 

The militants lobbed a grenade which exploded near a CRPF vehicle injuring three forces personnel.

They said two civilians were also injured from the splinters of the grenade. All the injured were admitted in hospital.

One person was killed and five others, including a CRPF jawan, were injured in a grenade attack by suspected militants in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on July 25.

Meanwhile, a senior police official told IBNS that the entire  area has been cordoned off and search operation  to nab the attackers is going on.
