Court sends Iqbal Kaskar, 2 aides to 8-day police custody

Mumbai, Sept 19 (IBNS): Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's brother Iqbal Kaskar, who was arrested on Monday in connection with a case of extortion, has been sent to eight-day police custody, media reports said.

Besides Kaskar, the court on Tuesday sent two of his associates to police remand for eight days.

The two associates were arrested on Tuesday after their detention on Monday night.

Kaskar was detained on Monday night from Mumbai in connection with a case of extortion.

According to reports, he was interrogated till late night by the police before being formally arrested.
