Continuous firing by Pakistani troops kills 6 civilians in J&K

Firing by Pakistani troops overnight killed a 40-year-old woman in the Balakote sector. A 12-year-old child has also been killed in the ceasefire violation by the neighbouring country.
Firing by Pakistani troops overnight killed a 40-year-old woman in the Balakote sector.  A 12-year-old child has also been killed in the ceasefire violation by the neighbouring country.

Pakistan resorted to heavy firing and shelling along Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch on Saturday leaving several people injured.

Officials told IBNS that the Pakistan army resorted to shelling in various villages of the Balakote sector, including Panjni, Dabbi, Balakote Forward and Basoni, since 10 am on Saturday morning.

The shelling also took place in Saujian sector.

 Many houses sustained damage in the exchange of fire.

 Pakistan media had reported that one person was killed and 4 others were injured in Indian shelling.
