Constable allegedly shoots self to death inside Jammu police station
A constable allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Police Ststion Nowabad late on Saturday night, police said.
Police said that the Selection Grade Constable identified as Hussain, posted at police station Nowabad committed suicide.
"Prima facie it appears that he used his service weapon to shoot himself," said police.
They said that FSL team and crime photographer were pressed into service on the spot and inquest proceedings initiated.
