New Delhi, May 6 (IBNS): Targeting the Centre, the Congress is all set to launch the 'Save Democracy' rally here on Friday.

The rally will be held in Jantar Mantar.

Senior political leaders, including president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi and  ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh  are expected to participate in the rally.

"To save India from the anti-democratic Modi Govt join 'Loktantra Bachao March', from 9 am today. #MarchForDemocracy," the Congress tweeted.

The rally will be launched at a time when the Congress and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party exchanged barbs on several occasions in the Parliament over numerous issues including the AgustaWestland scam.
