Raipur, Dec 14 (IBNS): Congress will announce the name of the new Chhattisgarh chief minister on Saturday, reports said.

Four contenders are in the fray, T.S Singh Deo, Bhupesh Baghel, Tamradhwaj Sahu and Charan Das Mahant, reports said, adding that all the four will come to the state capital on Saturday to hold meeting with other MLA before the official announcement.

The four had met Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on Friday.

The Congress has already announced that Ashok Gehlot would be the chief minister of Rajasthan while Kamal Nath will take charge in Madhya Pradesh.
