Congress could not convey its message to the public: MP CM

Sidhi, MP, May 27 (UNI): In the context of the 17th general election results, Madhya Pradesh chief minister and Congress state president Kamal Nath averred on Monday that the party could not deliver its message to the public.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) succeeded in influencing the masses by fanning emotive issues. We are prepared for another floor test in the Assembly and have no complication regarding that as our dispensation has proved majority in the House earlier. The BJP is involving itself in such talk as part of attempts to boost its morale. The state’s Congress government is in no peril whatsoever. A legislators’ meeting in Bhopal on Sunday witnessed universal attendance,” he said during an interaction with the press in Churhat.

The Chief Minister attended the 13th day ritual – in nearby Sada – following the demise former HRD minister and former chief minister late Arjun Singh’s spouse and the Vidhan Sabha’s ex-leader of the opposition Ajay Singh’s mother Saroj Singh.
