CISF strength to be increased to 2 lakh in future: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Sept 8 (IBNS): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said the government will increase the strength of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to two lakh in future.

"Efforts are on to expand the strength of CISF from the present 1.25 lakhs to 2 lakhs in the near future," Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said.

"There are anti-national forces looking for an opportunity to target India's economic &strategic interests. CISF should always be prepared," he said while addressing at CISF 'Dikshant Samaroh'.

Speaking on cyber terrorism, Singh said:"There is a grave threat of cyber terrorism lurking around. The CISF should upgrade its skills to counter cyber terrorism."
