Child killed, two others injured in a bomb explosion

Bhagalpur, Mar 12 (UNI): A child was killed and two other kids critically injured when a bomb exploded at Kabirpur village in Lalamtia police station area in the district today.

 

Police said here the bomb went off when three children were searching their ball in a heap of garbage where the explosive was concealed. The explosion killed one Mohammed Ibrahim (8) on the spot.

Sources said children were playing with the ball in a field when it rolled into the garbage.

The police said two children, who were critically injured in the mishap, had been admitted to Bhagalpur Medical College and Hospital.

The body was sent to the hospital for autopsy.
