Chikungunya not a fatal disease, Delhi's Health Minister quotes Google
New Delhi, Sept 15 (IBNS): Satyendra Jain, Delhi's Health Minister recently urged people to not panic amidst chikungunya death threats, stating he has read in Google the disease is nonfatal, media reports said.
Jain said that he has reviewed reports and have not found a single death resulting from the disease and has attributed the deaths in Delhi to old age.
He has also urged people to get admitted only with the doctor's advice and not due to fear.
Five people have died so far in the national capital due to Chikungunya.
